On May 22, 2026, at Hilton Da Nang, VTI Group officially opened its Da Nang branch, marking a strategic expansion of the Group in Central Vietnam. The new branch is positioned to become a large-scale software development center, contributing to VTI’s enhanced capability to deliver high-quality technology services to enterprise clients in Vietnam and international markets.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from government agencies, partners, enterprise clients, universities, and organizations across the technology ecosystem. More than a milestone in VTI’s expanding presence, the event also reflected the Group’s long-term commitment to supporting the growth of IT talent and the technology ecosystem in Da Nang.

A Strategic Milestone in Expanding VTI’s Technology Capabilities in Da Nang 

With its young workforce, strong foreign language capabilities, stable working environment, developed urban infrastructure, and growing technology ecosystem, Da Nang is considered a strategic location for VTI to expand its technology service delivery capabilities.

As part of the event, guests visited the Tech Showcase area, where VTI introduced its proprietary solutions in AI, GenAI, digital transformation, and smart manufacturing. 

VTI presented a practical perspective on how GenAI can be applied to the software development process, from coding assistance and source code quality inspection to data processing and analytics. Rather than serving merely as a supporting tool, GenAI is integrated into VTI’s operations to accelerate delivery, enhance developer productivity, and improve the quality of products delivered to clients. 

In parallel, VTI’s manufacturing solutions demonstrated how technology can address real-world production operation challenges. Through the Manufacturing Execution System (MESX) combined with IIoT and SCADA, enterprises can monitor production data in real time on a unified system. Robotics and automation solutions help optimize warehouse operations, material transportation, and production supply, while AI is applied in workplace safety monitoring, predictive maintenance, and inventory forecasting, contributing to greater stability and efficiency in factory operations. 

Strengthening Education Partnerships and IT Talent Development in Da Nang

One of the highlights of the event was the signing ceremony of Memorandums of Understanding between VTI Education and the Faculty of Digital Technology – The University of Danang, University of Technology and Education, as well as the Corporate Relations Department – FPT University Da Nang. These are educational institutions with strengths in technology, engineering, and enterprise engagement in Central Vietnam.

The University of Danang, University of Technology and Education has strong capabilities in applied engineering, technology, and practice-oriented training. Meanwhile, FPT University Da Nang is recognized for its dynamic learning environment, international orientation, and close connection with businesses, helping equip students with the adaptability needed for the modern technology labor market.

The cooperation agreements focus on training, internships, and recruitment connections for high-quality local IT talent. Through these partnerships, VTI expects to make a practical contribution to developing the technology engineering workforce in Da Nang, while creating more opportunities for students to gain exposure to real working environments through technology projects. 

VTI Da Nang’s Development Direction for the Next Phase 

In the next phase, VTI Da Nang aims to become one of the city’s large-scale software development centers, with a target of more than 500 employees by 2030.

The branch will prioritize building teams and specialists in Low-code development, maintenance services, and system monitoring services. At the same time, VTI Da Nang will gradually strengthen its expertise and delivery experience to engage more deeply in the Retail, Finance, and Healthcare sectors.

In addition to providing services to enterprise clients, VTI Da Nang will also work closely with VTI Academy and VTI Education in IT talent development, while strengthening cooperation with universities, technology partners, and enterprises to connect training, recruitment, and practical delivery capabilities.
