On 13th March 2023, VTI KOREA announced the MOU with INSOFT for cooperation in the “Hybrid Offshoring and Application Modernization Project”.
This agreement was prepared for the two companies to cooperate in the cloud-native development and application modernization project that INSOFT has already been pursuing. In the long term, the cooperation between the two companies is expected to expand the scope of the project to the global market. The two companies plan to utilize VTI’s V-GDC located in Vietnam to solve the problem of insufficient domestic developers, meet the application modernization and cloud-native development business that INSOFT is promoting, and actively use it for AI financial solution development.
V-GDC provides various web/app development, cloud application development, big data service development, and artificial intelligence service development, as well as cloud operation and MSP services, developed by more than 1,000 diverse and excellent talents.
“There is a difference between the existing offshoring model and the hybrid offshoring model,” said INSOFT CEO Hwang Kwang-Ik. “Since INSOFT is in charge of the final results, our clients can ensure the quality of the outputs.”
“INSOFT secured excellent and competitive developers through this agreement to develop cloud-native platform development, application modernization, AI financial solutions, cloud infrastructure, PAS construction, cloud MSP, cloud observability, and cloud computing. We have secured higher competitiveness in MSA consulting and cloud e-commerce. Additionally, we have secured opportunities to enter the global market while solidifying our position in the Korean market.”
A VTI official stated, “As a company with high-level and diverse software development personnel and cloud engineers, through this agreement, we will enter the domestic hybrid offshoring market and provide cost-effective and high-quality services. VTI’s IT outsourcing services are placed in various fields such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data. We have plans to jointly develop cloud and AI financial solutions with INSOFT, targeting both Korean and Vietnamese markets, and eventually the global market together,” he said.
