Hue, April 18, 2025 – As part of the “Seminar on the Application of Digital Technology Products and Services for the Development of Digital Government in Hue City and Consultation on the Draft Digital Technology Industry Law,” Ms. Pham Thi Nhung, Chief Operating Officer of VTI Solutions Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hue Department of Science and Technology. This collaboration aims to accelerate digital transformation in the local manufacturing sector.
The Digital Technology Industry Law – Driving Innovation and ‘Make in Vietnam’ Products
Amidst the global wave of digital transformation, the formulation of the Digital Technology Industry Law represents a strategic move to foster the digital technology sector as a new engine of economic growth. The law seeks to shift the industry model from outsourcing and assembly to creativity, design, and production within Vietnam, establishing an ecosystem of digital technology enterprises. It also creates a clear legal framework to encourage investment, innovation, and the development of ‘Make in Vietnam’ technology products. This foundation enables Vietnam not only to adopt but also to master technology, generate new value, modernize its economy, and enhance its global competitiveness as a technology-producing nation.
VTI Solutions and MES-X – Creating New Value Through Technology
VTI Solutions, a subsidiary of VTI Group – recognized among Vietnam’s Top 10 leading IT groups – delivers comprehensive digital transformation solutions for the manufacturing sector through its ‘Make in Vietnam’ solution suite, with strengths in industry-specific customization and scalable expansion.
The MES-X Manufacturing Execution System, developed entirely by the VTI Solutions team, enables enterprises to monitor their production processes in real time. MES-X centralizes data from materials, manpower, and machinery to support quality management, cost optimization, and productivity improvement, empowering businesses to make quicker, more informed decisions. The system features six key modules: MESCore (production execution management), WMS-X (warehouse management), QMS-X (quality management), MMS-X (equipment and maintenance management), TMS-X (traceability management), and PMS-X (procurement management).
During the workshop, Ms. Pham Thi Nhung introduced MES-X as a vital tool supporting the development of Vietnam’s digital technology industry. MES-X effectively addresses pressing challenges faced by manufacturers today, such as:
- Quality Control: Difficulties in managing production quality across all stages.
- Cost Management: Material losses and data inaccuracies resulting from manual processes and lack of resource optimization.
- Productivity Enhancement: Outdated machinery and operational processes limiting production capacity and delivery performance.
MES-X differentiates itself by offering a holistic production management solution that seamlessly integrates with existing enterprise systems and is highly customizable to specific business needs. Ms. Nhung emphasized, “Enterprises do not need to rebuild — VTI can integrate MES-X with their existing systems, ensuring continuity while optimizing costs.”

Thanks to these distinctive advantages, MES-X has been successfully implemented in leading domestic and foreign-invested manufacturing enterprises from South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and across various sectors such as electronics, packaging and plastics, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, and furniture manufacturing.
MES-X has earned multiple accolades, including the Bronze Award at the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2024, a Top 10 Excellence Award at the Sao Khue Awards 2024, and was Vietnam’s sole representative to reach the finals of the ADA Awards 2025, winning the Silver Award in the Private Sector category.
Strategic Collaboration to Advance Hue’s Digital Industry
As the central city of the North Central region, Hue has identified digital transformation as a key driver of sustainable development. The city is building a strong foundation for its digital economy, digital society, and digital technology industry, achieving a Top 3 national ranking in the Digital Transformation Index (DTI). Hue is home to several key industries, including textiles, mechanical engineering, food processing, construction materials, software, and the creative industries.
The Hue Department of Science and Technology envisions developing a modern production force, playing a pivotal role in advancing scientific, technological, and social development goals.
