VTI Signs MOU with UPROOT to Accelerate AI Innovation in Manufacturing

On November 4, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam, VTI officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UPROOT, a South Korean AI solutions provider, marking a strategic collaboration to drive innovation in the manufacturing sector through advanced artificial intelligence technologies.

The signing took place at the “2025 Busan K-Digital Trade Delegation in Vietnam” event in Hanoi, organized by KOTRA Hanoi (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency under the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam), INNOPOLIS (Korea Innovation Foundation), Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan Venture Business Association.

The business-matching program brought together Korean companies seeking to enter the Vietnamese market with prospective local partners. Participating enterprises represented a diverse range of sectors, including manufacturing, business services, healthcare, data, and cybersecurity.

During the event, VTI representatives met with UPROOT, a South Korean technology company offering AI-powered solutions implemented in automotive, semiconductor, construction, and infrastructure projects. UPROOT’s product suite enhances efficiency in complex IT environments and includes:

• AI Design – improving technical drawings and design workflows
• ROOT Search AI – enabling deep information retrieval and data analysis
• UP Chat AI – an intelligent chatbot supporting natural communication and fast task execution

Recognizing the strong alignment between both companies—especially with VTI’s 2025 strategic direction of “AI at the core”—the two parties formalized their cooperation through an MOU. The partnership aims to jointly apply and expand AI technologies within the manufacturing industry, a strategic focus area for VTI.

The agreement underscores a shared commitment to fostering digital transformation and unlocking new value through AI innovation in Vietnam’s manufacturing sector.
