The “Vietnam Offshore Utilization Campaign – intra-mart Offshore Showcase,” hosted by AKIRA Corporation, took place in Tokyo on December 4, 2025. VTI Japan joined the event as one of the participating companies, engaging in discussions on the latest approaches to business process improvement and DX initiatives utilizing intra-mart. The showcase gathered numerous IT vendors and user enterprises, providing a highly valuable opportunity for industry-wide knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Facing a critical shortage of IT talent in Japan, VTI Japan highlighted its partnership with intra-mart, a leading digital common platform known for connecting, standardizing, and expanding corporate business processes.

The presentation outlined how VTI utilizes the intra-mart Accel Platform to offer a “one-stop” digital workplace. Key capabilities showcased included:

• Low-Code Development: Enabling rapid application building through drag-and-drop functionality to speed up deployment.
• Process Standardization: Automating application and approval flows to enhance productivity across human resources, accounting, and sales.
• Legacy Migration: Modernizing aging systems (such as Lotus Notes) by migrating data and logic to the intra-mart platform.

The Dual-Based Model: Speed and Quality

A highlight of VTI’s presentation was the introduction of its Dual-Based Model designed to maximize development speed while maintaining high quality.

• Japan Base (Upstream): A “Core Team” of Bridge System Engineers (BrSE) and upstream engineers handles requirement interviews, specification organization, and acts as a “mini PM” to ensure quality control on-site.
• Vietnam Base (Development): A scalable team handles parallel modular development, utilizing AI for code generation and automated testing to maximize productivity.

This shift from serial to parallel development can increase project speed by 1.5 to 2 times compared to traditional models.

VTI’s Initiatives: Strengthening intra-mart Talent Development

Underpinning these technical capabilities is VTI’s aggressive commitment to human resource development. With a workforce of over 1,800 employees across the region, VTI Japan announced a targeted roadmap to significantly expand its specialized intra-mart engineering pool over the next 12 months. The plan focuses on rapidly scaling from a foundational team to a fully staffed center of excellence capable of handling large-scale implementations and long-term operations, ensuring clients have access to a sustainable stream of certified expertise without getting bogged down in the minutiae of training.
