VTI Signs MOU with Intekplus to Form Strategic Partnership in Inspection Technology

Seoul, Korea – December 1st, 2025 – VTI, a prominent technology solution provider, and Intekplus, an internationally recognized leader in integrated measurement and exterior inspection systems, today announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This pivotal agreement formalizes their successful collaboration into a long-term strategic partnership, aimed at strengthening business operations, accelerating technical exchange, and enhancing collaboration in Smart Factory, Semiconductor, and advanced 3D technologies.

Partnership Foundation: Proven Performance in High-Stakes Projects

The global Semiconductor industry demands unprecedented levels of precision, speed, and continuous innovation, particularly in the realm of automated visual inspection – a sector where Intekplus is a recognized leader. Faced with the perpetual challenge of turning proprietary R&D know-how into market-ready, high-performance software quickly and without compromising their core IP, IntekPlus sought a technology partner capable of specialized C++ implementation and rigorous technical validation. VTI was selected for its proven ability to meet these exact demands, serving as a reliable extension of IntekPlus’s own R&D capabilities.

The decision to elevate the partnership is built upon a history of successful project delivery, where VTI has demonstrated its core capabilities in high-stakes environments. VTI’s commitment has been evidenced by achieving 100% on-time milestone completion and maintaining a near-zero re-schedule rate across previous engagements, reflecting a disciplined and predictable delivery process.

This reliable execution stems from VTI’s commitment to a collaborative mindset and quick adaptation. Throughout projects, VTI maintained transparency and control by consistently releasing periodic product demos/views. This approach ensured early alignment with Intekplus’s evolving needs and facilitated quick adaptation to unforeseen technical complexities, such as handling unique 3D module configurations or integrating new control logic.

A crucial success factor was VTI’s ability to implement an advanced simulator solution, handling complex software development tasks with precision and speed. Consistent, timely delivery and strong technical execution have reinforced VTI’s readiness for a deeper long-term collaboration with Intekplus.

Strategic Scope: Integrating Know-How and Execution

The MOU outlines a comprehensive framework focused on deep technical and operational integration, ensuring the partnership delivers immediate and sustained value:

  • Transfer and Internalization of Expertise: A core tenet of the MOU is VTI’s adoption and internalization of Intekplus’s specialized development approach and methodologies for software development and testing. This commitment goes beyond simple project delivery, creating a shared ecosystem that strengthens joint technical capabilities through mutual exchange of specialized technologies and know-how.
  • Priority Allocation of Top-Level Personnel: Recognizing the complexity of projects in the Semiconductor and visual inspection fields – where Intekplus has been a KOSDAQ Rising Star for four consecutive years, and a recipient of the ‘70 Million Dollar Export Tower’ – both parties commit to the priority allocation of top-level professional personnel.
  • Localized Customer Support: VTI will actively support Customer Support (CS) and interpretation services in Vietnam, enhancing communication and service delivery for Intekplus’s rapidly expanding global client base.

Deepening Collaboration for Sustainable Growth

Under the MOU, both companies commit to equal rights and obligations, strict confidentiality, and a collaborative foundation that enables expansion into a full spectrum of advanced technologies.

A core driver of sustainable growth is the ability to leverage VTI’s 1,800 engineering workforce and its proven Global Development Center (GDC) model in Vietnam. Through this model, Intekplus gains access to a large, scalable, and highly skilled talent pool – supported by onsite teams, including Korean technical leaders working directly at the headquarters – ensuring cultural alignment, seamless communication, and execution excellence.

The signing ceremony, attended by senior executives from Intekplus and VTI, reaffirmed the strong relationship the two companies have built through successful project collaboration.

As Mr. Lee Sang Yoon, CEO of Intekplus, shared during the event:

“Intekplus is continuously expanding, from equipment to software.

At this important point in our growth, I believe it is truly fortunate that two capable and reputable companies from Vietnam and Korea have come together to sign this MOU.

I hope this will serve as a foundation for our two companies to build an even closer relationship and foster a long-lasting partnership and friendship.”

Mr. Lee Sang Yoon, CEO of Intekplus, shared his thoughts

For VTI and Intekplus, this partnership is far more than a formal agreement. It embodies mutual trust established through real delivery, a shared pursuit of engineering excellence, and a unified commitment to co-creating innovative solutions for the Korean market and beyond. The MOU lays the foundation for a long-term, sustainable, and innovation-driven partnership.
