VTI Japan Joins the Japan Automotive Model-Based Engineering Center (JAMBE)

Deepening Knowledge of MBD and Understanding of Technology Trends in Japan’s Automotive Industry

VTI Japan Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo; hereinafter “VTI Japan”) is pleased to announce that it joined the Japan Automotive Model-Based Engineering center (hereinafter “JAMBE”), a general incorporated association, as a general member in October 2026.

Through this membership, VTI Japan aims to expand its access to insights and technology trends in Model-Based Development (MBD), while deepening its understanding of software development methods used in Japan’s automotive industry.

■ Background and Objectives

In recent years, advances in CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services, and Electric) and the transition toward Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs) have made automotive software increasingly sophisticated and complex. Alongside ensuring development quality and improving development efficiency, collaboration among the companies and departments involved in development has become increasingly important.

Against this backdrop, Model-Based Development (MBD) is gaining attention as an approach that supports improvements in quality and efficiency in automotive development.

Drawing on development resources in Japan and Vietnam, VTI Japan provides software development services, including embedded software development, to customers in the automotive industry.
