Advancing Its AI-First Strategy, VTI Launches AI Center of Excellence to Scale Enterprise-Wide GenAI Implementation

Amid the accelerating impact of Generative AI on productivity and business operating models, VTI has defined 2026 as a pivotal year to operationalize its “AI First” strategy – transforming all engineers into AI-augmented engineers and embedding AI into everyday practices.

Aligned with this strategic direction, on February 5, VTI officially launched VTI.ACE (AI Center of Excellence), a dedicated unit established to systematically drive, standardize, and scale AI adoption across the company.

Establishing a Strategic GenAI Execution Hub

VTI.ACE serves as a strategic hub for advancing Generative AI applications across software development, strengthening enterprise-wide capabilities, and unlocking new business opportunities. The Center will lead focused R&D efforts to explore emerging GenAI technologies and systematically integrate them into engineering workflows, coding standards, and delivery processes.

VTI.ACE will drive the company-wide adoption of V-Copilot, VTI’s GenAI-powered coding assistant, to double developer productivity. The Center will also develop structured GenAI training programs to build a sustainable pipeline of AI-ready talent across the organization.

Together with the establishment of the Center, VTI announced the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang as Head of VTI’s AI Center of Excellence. With 18 years of hands-on industry experience and deep expertise in Generative AI applications, Mr. Dang will lead the company’s AI integration strategy – embedding AI not only into client-facing solutions but also into VTI’s internal development DNA.

Commenting on the role of AI in organizational transformation, Mr. Dang stated:

“AI will not replace humans, but it will replace those who fail to proactively adapt to it. Proactive evolution is the key to survival and leadership.”

Under his leadership, VTI.ACE will play a critical role in advancing VTI’s 2026 vision to transform all engineers into AI-augmented engineers, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to structured, enterprise-wide AI adoption.

The kick-off event provided an opportunity for leadership and the newly formed Center to align on long-term objectives, operational principles, and implementation priorities for the upcoming phases.

Mr. Tran Xuan Khoi, CEO of VTI, underscored the urgency of transformation:

“AI or die. Applying Generative AI in software development is the mandate of our time. VTI.ACE will serve as the pioneering force in driving AI adoption, and we expect implementation within projects to be both mandatory and successful.”

His remarks reaffirmed the company’s commitment to transitioning AI from exploratory initiatives to structured, measurable execution.

From an operational perspective, Ms. Dao Thi Thu Hien, COO of VTI, emphasized the strategic role of institutionalizing AI capabilities across the organization:
