The Key to Success in International Markets

As one of Vietnam’s Top 10 leading digital technology companies, VTI Group currently has more than 1,500 employees and operates eight offices across key markets including Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. In just seven years since its founding, VTI has made remarkable strides in expanding internationally – a result of its global mindset from day one, coupled with a consistent strategy and effective execution.

In his remarks, Mr. Pham Thanh Ha summarized VTI’s international growth journey through four strategic pillars:

  1. A clear “Go Global” vision from the beginning
From its inception, VTI identified international markets as its primary focus, with the goal of becoming a global technology company.
  2. Building a market-savvy team that serves local clients
VTI’s management team is capable of directly engaging with clients in demanding markets like Japan, South Korea, and Singapore – where deep understanding of culture, processes, and business standards is essential.
  3. Commitment to quality and long-term reputation building
Quality has been the cornerstone of VTI’s reputation. The company has adopted international software development standards early on, including ISO 27001:2022 and CMMI Level 3, meeting the rigorous requirements of global clients.
  4. Continuous technology innovation and investment in applied research
Beyond software services, VTI actively develops its own “Made-by-VTI” solutions. Since 2018, the company has operated an R&D center focused on applying advanced technologies such as AI, GenAI, and IoT to enhance productivity and product quality.

AI – A Game-Changing Force

Also during the panel, Mr. Ha emphasized the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in redefining how businesses operate and innovate. With a vision to become an AI-driven company, VTI has widely adopted AI internally, developed a low-code platform and the V-Copilot tool to support operations and software development, and invested in training its workforce to utilize AI tools for increased productivity and reduced costs.

Mr. Ha also noted that new tools like GitHub Copilot do more than assist in coding – they introduce a new way of working. In the future, skills in prompt engineering, AI agent orchestration, and collaboration with AI will be essential for software developers.

Responsibility – A Foundation for Sustainable International Partnerships

At the end of the panel, Mr. Ha stressed: “Responsibility is a vital factor in international cooperation.” Responsibility is one of VTI’s three core values, alongside Respect and Kaizen. In an increasingly interconnected and fast-evolving technological world, upholding responsibility – from honoring commitments and securing information to practicing ethical AI – will be the foundation for Vietnamese enterprises to confidently step onto the global stage.
