VTI Japan Joins as Co-Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Digital Transformation in Japan to Contribute to the Promotion of Digitalization

On July 7, 2024, VTI Japan was appointed as co-chairman of the “Vietnamese Association of Digital Transformation in Japan” (VADX JAPAN).

The VADX JAPAN ceremony was held in Tokyo, Japan, and served as a platform to connect Vietnamese IT companies operating in Japan, fostering cooperation in innovation and advanced technology solutions between the two countries. During the ceremony, it was announced that VTI Japan had been appointed as co-chairman of VADX JAPAN. With this new role, VTI Japan is committed to leveraging its accumulated experience and expertise to lead the digital transformation (DX) of both Vietnam and Japan to success.

The establishment of VADX JAPAN marks a significant milestone in the robust growth of Vietnamese IT companies in Japan, characterized by their reputation, quality, workforce size, revenue, and future development opportunities. The ambassador expressed hope that the Vietnamese IT companies in Japan would advance with a determination to drive digital transformation and make practical contributions to the cooperation between the two nations for the benefit of their people.

Currently, Vietnamese IT companies operating in Japan are experiencing robust growth in both quantity and quality. Among these, there are more than 10 companies, including VTI, each employing over 1,000 people. The total number of Vietnamese companies providing IT services to Japanese companies has nearly reached 500. Vietnamese IT companies are not only capable of handling simple tasks such as programming and testing but also adept at applying new technologies such as cloud computing, big data, AI, blockchain, and VR. They support all stages of software development, from research and design to implementation, in digital transformation projects.

VADX JAPAN aims to become a highly reputable and powerful organization by fostering close cooperation and a spirit of innovation. By 2033, it seeks to elevate the total revenue of Vietnamese IT companies in Japan to 1 trillion yen (nearly 7 billion USD) and significantly contribute to both digital and green transformations.

Moving forward, VTI Japan, along with other members of VADX JAPAN, will strive to leverage outstanding talent and cutting-edge technology to realize the digital transformation of both countries.
