On February 12, 2025, VTI and the Faculty of Information Technology at VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET) officially renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement marks a significant milestone in VTI’s strategy to develop high-quality tech talent, fostering a sustainable workforce ecosystem to meet the increasing demands of digital transformation.
Strategic Collaboration for Tech Talent Development
As one of Vietnam’s top four universities for IT education, VNU-UET is known for its highly skilled students and strong academic foundation. Since establishing this partnership in 2018, VTI has continuously expanded its support programs for students and recruited top talent from the university.
Each year, VNU-UET graduates account for 10% of VTI’s new tech hires, contributing to a highly skilled workforce for both domestic and international projects. Additionally, VTI and VNU-UET co-organize an average of two recruitment events per year, alongside numerous training programs, academic collaborations, and scholarship initiatives supporting outstanding students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
MOU Renewal – A Commitment to Sustainable Growth
The signing ceremony took place at VTI’s headquarters, attended by representatives from both sides, including Ms. Dao Thi Thu Hien (COO of VTI) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Hieu (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, VNU-UET).
The renewed agreement aims to expand internship, career orientation, and specialized training programs, equipping students with practical skills from an early stage. Furthermore, this collaboration opens up new opportunities in research, technology development, and high-quality workforce supply for large-scale projects.
During the ceremony, Ms. Dao Thi Thu Hien emphasized:
“The partnership between VTI and the Faculty of Information Technology extends beyond providing internship opportunities. It is about building a long-term, sustainable, and high-quality talent ecosystem. Moving forward, both sides will continue to strengthen our collaboration, expanding specialized training programs to further solidify this partnership.”
Representatives from the Faculty of Information Technology also recognized VTI as one of their most active and valuable partners, consistently supporting recruitment efforts while providing expert resources and senior personnel to guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.
Following the signing ceremony, VNU-UET representatives toured VTI’s headquarters to gain deeper insights into its work processes, development environment, and corporate culture. This visit served as an opportunity to further strengthen the partnership, contributing to the enhancement of Vietnam’s IT workforce and ensuring a steady pipeline of highly skilled professionals for the industry.
