On December 15, 2025, in Seoul – VTI KOREA officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with OSC Korea at the latter’s headquarters. This event marks a significant milestone as VTI becomes OSC Korea’s 5th strategic partner in the region, paving the way for comprehensive security solution delivery to enterprise clients.

A Strategic Alliance for Advanced Security
OSC Korea is a premier provider of Open Source Software Governance solutions in South Korea. The company derives the majority of its revenue from solution sales—specifically Sonatype, which accounts for 56% of their portfolio—alongside technology projects and comprehensive Care Pack services. OSC Korea currently serves major clients in highly demanding sectors, including Finance, Manufacturing, and Semiconductors.
Under this partnership, VTI will collaborate with OSC Korea to accelerate the deployment of the Sonatype suite, including Nexus, Firewall, Lifecycle, and IQ Server. A key competitive advantage of these solutions is their capability for robust local support and offline support, particularly for the Nexus and Firewall lines, ensuring compliance and stability for restricted network environments.

Enhancing Solution Delivery in the Korean Market
This collaboration holds strategic importance for VTI amidst the rising demand for cybersecurity in South Korea.
- Capacity Building: OSC Korea will provide specialized solution training to VTI’s engineering team.
- Client Engagement: Both parties will coordinate closely in joint meetings and consultancy sessions to address specific enterprise challenges.
Mr. Kim Jae-cheon, CEO of OSC Korea, said,
“Open source security is no longer a separate area from development, but a core element of the development process itself.” He added, “When OSC Korea’s security experience accumulated through financial, semiconductor, and manufacturing clients is combined with VTI’s abundant technical manpower and SI execution capabilities, we will be able to present a practical enterprise security standard.”
Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, VTI KOREA CEO, explained,
“This collaboration is the starting point for creating a new business model that combines security solutions and SI capabilities,” and “We plan to strengthen our competitiveness in both the domestic and global markets through joint technology training and market-specific targeted sales.”

This partnership enables VTI to complete its service puzzle by integrating high-level Security Solutions, thereby covering a broader range of client needs. Leveraging VTI’s existing strength in Software Development and its portfolio of clients in high-security domains, the addition of Sonatype solutions will empower VTI to help customers proactively manage and mitigate the increasingly complex security risks in the Korean market.
The signing ceremony concluded successfully, setting the stage for a dynamic 2026 focused on high-tech integration and optimal security standards.
