In this project, VTI partnered with a prominent Japanese mutual insurance organization with over 70 years of experience serving millions of farmers and rural residents. Using Flutter, we delivered a cutting-edge insurance mobile app with advanced features and top-tier security to meet the client’s standards and business needs.

Client’s Requirements

Our client’s existing insurance application was outdated, offering limited features and a user interface that no longer met modern expectations. It lacked the functionality needed to support the company’s growing focus on accident and natural disaster coverage, and was unable to keep up with the demands of today’s fast-paced digital landscape.

To address these gaps, the client sought a new application with enhanced capabilities – streamlining the insurance process from registration and real-time incident reporting to claim submissions and emergency assistance. The new solution needed to allow users to initiate claims quickly, upload evidence, track claim progress, and request immediate help during critical events such as natural disasters or traffic accidents.

Additionally, in order to comply with Japan’s strict data security and privacy regulations, the client required that all development, hosting, and maintenance activities be conducted entirely within Japan. This ensured full regulatory compliance and safeguarded customer trust through local data handling and secure infrastructure.

• Evaluate the existing application and rebuild it from scratch, creating a detailed design for the client’s requested features.
• Utilize Flutter – a hybrid technology to develop a high-performance application that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android.
